CES 2007: OQO gets Windows Vista
OQO introduced Model 02 of their main product today during Bill Gates' keynote address. It comes with a free express upgrade to Windows Vista, so Windows XP is loaded when shipped. I'm betting this will change later this month after the introduction of Windows Vista.
With prices starting at just $1,499, the model 02 lineup can be customized to fit the needs of each user or organization. The model 02 is available with a 1.5GHz processor, 60GB hard disk drive, 1GB of RAM, and integrated mobile broadband data capability. Every model 02 is configured with OQO's breakthrough software that provides one touch access to many of the computer's settings and functions including the ability to change screen resolution on-the-fly with dedicated zoom keys.
More is available at the OQO website.
