Coffee brewing has always been difficult, with the filters, the coffee grounds, and the messy clean-up. Some new products are aiming to make this experience a better one and today I take a look at the Keurig Platinum B70 single-cup coffee brewer.

The experience while testing the Keurig brewer couldn’t have been better. The product is so easy to use, and isn’t too expensive for the average household. Just pop in a ‘K-cup’ filled with your choice of coffee grounds, press the ‘Brew’ button, and your coffee is brewed in a cup size of your choice. The only maintenance is filling the brewer up with water. The best thing about this coffee brewer is the fact that everyone can have their own favorite coffee.

The only problem I had with the brewer was the pump was fairly loud, but that was to be expected with something like this. A small mug of coffee was filled in about 20-30 seconds. When it’s done brewing, open the K-cup chamber and throw it out. The clean up couldn’t have been easier.

The brewer has a great sized backlit LCD for viewing the status of the device, and also has an auto on/off timer so your coffee is always ready for you in the morning.
