5G iPod Case Roundup

Every time a new iPod comes out; we always find the need to accessorize. Today, I take a look at two great cases for the iPod with video. The Claro from iSkin, and the professional Microflip from XtremeMac.
XtremeMac Microflip Leather Case for iPod with video
Price: $40
The XtremeMac Microflip is a leather case for your iPod, made out of soft suede leather that comes in four, professional looking colors, saddle, black, dark brown, and brown. The case opens up by pulling on a small leather flap that is attached to the case itself with a metal peg that keeps the iPod secured. Once the case is open, just slide your iPod into the bottom. One problem I did have with this case was that the click-wheel protector didn't allow good use of the click-wheel on the iPod as the case seemed too big to fit the 30GB iPod. I also found it hard to open the Microflip without using two hands. Nevertheless, the Microflip offered great protection, without sacrificing style.

iSkin Claro for iPod with video
Price: $39.99
iSkin has always been one of the top makers of iPod accessories since the iPod was introduced in 2001. This past year, they've stepped it up a notch to attract even more users with the iSkin Claro. The iSkin Claro consists of a thin silicon skin for your iPod, and a hard plastic case wrapped around it, offering double the protection, without breaking the bank. The Claro also features an innovative kick-stand into the minimalist belt clip, allowing you to display your iPod hands-free. iSkin's Claro product is a great buy and I would go out and buy one today if I were you. Great job, iSkin.
