Canon rolls out boxy Digital Elphs

Canon introduced two new Digital Elph cameras in their PowerShot lineup today. The SD750 and the SD1000 are based on the overly successful Elph camera lineup that goes way back to the film-based days and are both 7.1 megapixel cameras.
Pictured above, the SD750 features “artfully sculpted contours, evocative etched surfaces and even the option of dual-tone, silver and midnight matte black face and full-black back panel that blends seamlessly with its large and newly enhanced three-inch LCD display,” with this three-inch magnificent display, you’re able to preview your shots before you get back to your computer, great for showing off your photos at parties. Unlike the SD750, the SD1000 features a smaller 2.5 inch LCD display and is much more boxy-looking. Both cameras though, do weigh in at under 5 ounces so you can fit this one in your pocket or purse, great for on the go.
Both the SD750 and the SD1000 cameras will be available in late March for $299.99 and $349.99 respectively.
More pictures after the jump. Expect a review of both of these cameras to come within the next few months.
