APC Back-UPS RS 1500 LCD, always be prepared.

It’s not quite storm season yet in the United States, but it’s good to be prepared for the unexpected. Battery backup systems have been very popular for people in areas where blackouts and power outages are common, and even in the summer time, these problems can occur. Here’s a solution that will solve all of these problems, the APC Back-UPS RS 1500 LCD.
The Back-UPS RS 1500 LCD is a 1500VA or 865-watt capacity UPS that under full load will last 5 minutes on battery during a power outage or 2 hours 54 minutes on 50 watts load. Plenty of time for you to save your files, and shut down your computer.
In addition to the 6 battery backup power inputs, the UPS has 2 surge protection inputs for devices not critical to your work. The UPS also has RJ-45 protection, and coaxial video / cable modem protection.
The unique thing about this product that it includes a LCD screen on the front of the unit that displays load, battery time, and any diagnostic messages that may be causing the UPS to malfunction.
The UPS worked great during our testing, and the LCD allowed us to diagnose the outage without using a computer, although a USB to RJ-45 cable is included for using the APC software with the device. Overall, it is a great UPS for everyone from the small business to home office and the average consumer.
The Back-UPS RS 1500 LCD is available today from most retailers for an MSRP of $249.99.
