Spire Torq Backpack

Spire Torq Backpack

We here at ConnectReviews are always looking for new backpacks and messenger bags to carry your notebook in style, and protection. Spire, based in Massachusetts, is dedicated to bringing you the best protection for your notebook. Today, I’m taking a look at the new, spacious Torq backpack.

When I requested the Torq from Spire, they offered a notebook sleeve called the Boot that your notebook slides into and then the Boot goes inside the backpack for extra protection. For my MacBook, I was given the XS size Boot. There are larger sizes available of course, for larger notebooks.

The backpack is divided into three compartments where you can put your notebook, books, and accessories so they aren’t all shoved into one area. The Torq is very comfortable with a chest strap, waist strap, and padded standard backpack straps; giving you multiple options for wearing the backpack when climbing, hiking, or just travelling. Most of these straps can be hidden when not in use for a more simplistic approach.

The build quality of the Torq and other Spire backpacks is amazing, and once you get everything inside the backpack the way you like it, you can compress the backpack and secure everything tight with the side straps.

Overall, the Spire Torq is a great backpack with a large capacity to store all of your gear on the go. At $170 and available in grey, red, blue, and black – it is a great choice for the road warrior.
