Motorola MOTOROKR S9 Bluetooth Headphones

You may have just begun to see people wearing Bluetooth stereo headphones, as they have only recently started to emerge on the market. Motorola just dropped a pair of these on our porch so let’s take a look.
The ROKR S9’s are a behind-the-head style headphones that look stylish yet comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. Since they do pair with your mobile phone, you can also use them as a Bluetooth headset when a call comes in. The touch sensitive controls on the side control volume, forward track, rewind track, play/pause, and answer call. Motorola claims a full charge will last up to 6 hours for music or 7 hours for talk time with 6 days of standby.
The S9’s can also be used with with your PC or Mac via the included Bluetooth USB receiver. For some reason my Mac picked up the receiver as a USB keyboard. I suggest that you use the built-in Bluetooth or a different Bluetooth dongle if possible.
Sound quality was great with no degradation whatsoever. I wore them for 3-4 hours straight and my ears didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. The back was a bit loose but they didn’t fall out. The controls were a bit easy to bump, especially when putting them on and taking them off, a minor annoyance.
Next I tested the range on these ‘phones, my office is situated on the corner of the house and I went all the way downstairs to the kitchen without losing any quality of sound which is a good 10-13 feet away from where the receiver was plugged in.
The MOTOROKR S9 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones are available today for $129.99 at Motorola’s online store or Amazon for less than $80.

I received the MotoRokr S9 as a cool Christmas gift from my surprisingly technologically-hip dad. I’ve accepted that they aren’t going to stream music to my iPhone until a firmware update with A2DP is released.
That said, I’d be happy if I could listen to music on the S9s from my MacBook, but it’s not happening. I’m running Tiger.
My question: if I make the jump to Leopard (probably will anyway), will this be remedied? Feel free to email if anyone has an answer- leftyjeb@gmail.com
Thanks.
I could’ve sworn I used these inside of Tiger and they worked fine playing music through iTunes. I know Leopard received A2DP support for Bluetooth so it should work - but look around on the web for more details on that.
