Epson Stylus C120 Inkjet Printer Review

epson stylus c120 Epson Stylus C120 Inkjet Printer Review

Dubbed the world's fastest document printer, the Epson Stylus C120 is perfect for small or home offices that rely on printing each and every day. At $69, is it worth buying?

The Epson Stylus C120 is a basic inkjet printer with a very minimalist design, printing up to 37 pages per minute in black, and up to 20 pages per minute in color (both in draft mode). Higher laser quality prints come out at 25 pages per minute in black and 11 pages per minute in color. Epson notes that the "World's Fastest Document Inkjet" testing was done under default mode (laser quality) printing typical office documents.

In the box you'll find the C120, two black cartridges, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow cartridge as well as a power cable and documentation. No USB cable is included.

We've been testing the Stylus C120 for the past month or so and it's perfect for a small office as Epson mentions on their website. It would have been nice to see network connectivity since a small office usually has more than one computer.

Print quality was overall very good, and this thing is fast! One-page documents came out in under 5 seconds and we were overall very impressed with the speed of the printer.

I would not hesitate one bit in recommending the Stylus C120, it's perfect for college students and small offices looking for a fast and cheap inkjet printer. I would like to see more inkjet printers with networking capability out of the box however, but there are always USB print servers around.

The Epson Stylus C120 is available today from Amazon.com for $69.99 with free shipping. A great deal it is.

Pros

  • Great print quality.
  • Fastest inkjet printer we've seen.

Cons

  • No networking capability.

Final Verdict
5 out of 5 stars.

  1. This is a perfect printer in a small office. What I don't like is there is no USB cable included in the package which is very important when you connect your printer to your PC and at the same time it doesn't have a good network capability.
