iPhone App Spotlight: Twittelator Pro

If you're looking for the swiss army knife of Twitter clients for the iPhone, Twittelator Pro is one of the many available today on the App Store. However, it offers some unique features including video support on the 3GS and tweeting audio messages straight from the app.
Similar to TweetDeck on both the desktop and iPhone platforms, you can group users into subgroups to only focus on the tweets from certain people. So let's say for example, I want to see breaking news all on one screen. Simple – all I have to do is select those Twitter friends and voila, all my breaking news in one place. This is a great feature for following family and friends and keeping them separate.
Twittelator Pro also supports a slew of link shortening services such as is.gd and bit.ly as well as support for image hosting services like TwitPic and yFrog. The client also supports the highly popular emoji icons that were only previously available on Japanese iPhones, unless you purchased a 99-cent emoji-enabler from the App Store.
The only thing I had a gripe with about the client was its somewhat cluttered interface. It has some unique design elements but it needs some refinement, which will then make it replace Tweetie on my iPhone.
A UI flaw I found where in order to access the buttons to retweet or reply to tweets, you have to tap on the tweet in a single area that isn't well documented.
If you're a Twitter power user though, Twittelator Pro is certainly for you. Find it today on the App Store for $4.99.
