Shure has introduced three new professional headphone models, and the company’s first over-the-ear headphones for studio use. The SRH840 headphones are geared towards studio recording and critical listening, and feature reference quality frequency response, rich bass, clear mid-range, and extended highs. The SRH440 are tuned to deliver accurate reproduction and are optimized for professional audio equipment including mixers and headphone amps. The cheapest of the bunch are the SRH240′s which are calibrated for consumer listening devices such as iPods and reproduce full bass with detailed highs.

The new headphone lineup will be available this Summer for $199.99, $99.99, and $59.99 respectively.
