First Look: Zoom Q3 Video Recorder
If you've ever used a pocket video camera like a Flip Mino HD or even the new iPhone 3GS, you know that audio isn't that great. That's exactly why Zoom has released the Q3 Video Recorder. It combines the portability of a pocket video camera, with a high quality portable mic similar to their voice recorders. It only records in 640x480 resolution, so HD fans will have to stick with the Mino HD for now if they prefer higher quality video instead. The Q3 comes with a 2GB SD card to get you started, which will record up to 1 hour of video. It also has a 2.4" LCD with audio meters and video editing software is included to get you started.
The Zoom Q3 will be available in September for $250 – pricey, but worth it if you just need the best audio.
