As you may have heard by now, Apple introduced it’s latest revision to the popular iPod nano music player this past Wednesday, and it’s the first iPod to have a video camera built-in. Weighing in at less than 1.3 ounces and 0.24 inches thin, the iPod nano is possibly the thinnest music player out on retail shelves and the fact that they integrated a video camera at no price increase is simply amazing. The new 5G iPod nano has a larger 2.2-inch display and a polished anodized aluminum enclosure which makes for brighter colors including red, purple, yellow, and blue. The built-in video camera records video at 640×480 up to 30 frames per second and also has 15 built-in special effects like Cyborg, Security Cam, and Motion Blur.

A long-requested FM radio tuner has also been added to the nano, again at no additional cost, and with a new Live Pause feature which allows you to pause live radio feeds like a DVR.

The new iPod nano is available in both 8GB and 16GB capacities for $149 and $179 respectively.
