First Look: HP TouchSmart tx2 Multi-Touch Tablet PC

HP today introduced their new TouchSmart tx2 tablet PC, with new multi-touch functionality. The new notebook has full two-finger control of entertainment through the TouchSmart interface, which connects you to your music, video, and photo library, as well as internet TV content (podcasts) and DVDs. Other than that, the tx2 packs in a AMD Turion X2 dual-core processor running at 2.20GHz and 4GB of DDR2 memory. The notebook also comes with a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive and a LightScribe SuperMulti 8x DVD burner. The TouchSmart tx2 starts at $799.99 and will be available October 22nd.
