The Best Black Friday Deals in Retail and Online
We've filtered through the latest Black Friday deals and compiled a list of the absolute best deals from netbooks to digital cameras to HDTVs and video games. Some deals are better than others but we've also got the links to more Black Friday sources around the web.
There are some pretty awesome deals for netbooks this year – with their growing popularity and ubiquitous use in coffee shops, these are the holiday gift for everyone.
OfficeMax is offering an Acer Aspire One 10.1" netbook with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and Windows XP for $149.99. It is a doorbuster deal so this may be an item to line up for. This item normally sells for $269.95 on Amazon.com. RadioShack is selling an Acer Aspire One 11.6" model with 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and Windows Vista for only $249.99 (compared to the normal $349.99 price point).
HDTV use in homes are growing and HD content is becoming more available than ever before with Netflix streaming, things like the Roku player and home theater PCs.
By far the best deal for getting a HDTV in your home without breaking the bank is the 32-inch Westinghouse (720p) model at Target for $246 (the model normally sells for $429.99). Limit one per customer, so don't expect to sell a bunch of these on eBay anytime soon. A larger 46-inch Samsung 1080p LCD HDTV will be available at many retailers at a discounted price, but by far the best price is at Best Buy for $847.99.
Best Buy has a Canon EOS Rebel T1i with 18-55mm lens for $699.99, a full $100 off the current price. A steal for anyone looking to shoot 720p video and capture amazing photographs. Those looking for an entry-level digital SLR should take a look at the Nikon D3000 with a 10-55mm VR lens available for $499.99 at Best Buy or Staples.
Road warriors, have you always wanted to be connected to a WiFi hotspot wherever you may be without paying for costly by-the-hour WiFi? Best Buy is offering the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 (Sprint) which normally sells for $99.99 with a two-year contract, but they're offering it in-store on Friday for free with the requisite contract. Read our review on the MiFi here.
And if you'd rather pass on all these great brick-and-mortar retail deals, Amazon.com has many Black Friday Week deals with "Lightning Deals" that sell fast. LogicBuy is also listing a preview of Newegg.com deals for all you computer geeks out there.
