Through the Korea Newswire, Samsung has launched its latest netbooks complete with the Intel “Pinetrail” platform nearly every netbook manufacturer has integrated. The new N210, N220, N150 and NB30 netbooks have 10.1″ LED-backlit displays and the 1.6GHz Atom N450 processor which is standard for this platform. You can expect to see battery life up to 12 hours with the N210 and 220, and up to 8.5 hours or 11 hours with the N150 and NB30. The NB30 has a water-tight seal around the body of the netbook to prevent water damage and a hard drive freefall sensor which parks the head on the drive if it senses a drop.
The new line of netbooks will be available in early this month in EMEA, the Americas, and Asian countries according to the release. We should be hearing more about these later this week when CES gets started.
