New Cool-er E-readers Introduced at CES

As if the Skiff Reader isn't enough to suit your needs, the folks at Interead are announcing new Cool-er e-reader models at CES. The new Cool-er Compact has the smallest footprint of any e-reader with a 6-inch e-ink screen with 2GB of onboard memory. Also joining the Compact is the new Cool-er Connect which adds WiFi connectivity and touchscreen functionality which they say is "ideal for readers on the move." Available later this year is the Cool-er 3G which adds 3G connectivity to download over 1400 periodicals and 2 million books wherever you are, similar to the B&N Nook and Amazon Kindle. All of the new models will come in various colors including Midnight Blue and Orange Crush, and will support books in every language.
The Cool-er Classic is available today, while the Compact and Connect will be available later this Spring, and the 3G will be available in mid-2010. Full press release below.
