Toshiba Updates Netbook With New NB305 Model

Nearly all the new netbooks we've seen ahead of CES this week include the new Intel "Pinetrail" Atom platform, and Toshiba is the latest to come to the market with the new mini NB305. The official word didn't hit until today, but we have the full rundown. The new Toshiba mini NB305 has a 10.1-inch "TruBrite" LED backlit display, the requisite Intel Atom N450 processor, a 250GB hard drive, and something we haven't seen on a netbook yet, a USB port with "Sleep-and-Charge" which enables users to charge cell phones and iPods through the USB port even while the netbook is off or sleeping. The NB305-N410 will come in three colors: Java Brown, Frost White and Royal Blue with a silver keyboard and accenting chrome hinge. The NB305-N310 will come in Black Onyx with a black matte finished keyboard.
