The first Motoblur phone on Verizon Wireless will be the new Motorola Devour. If you’re not familiar with Motoblur, it’s Motorola’s content delivery service connecting you to a variety of social networking services like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace into widgets on your Android home screen. The Devour will be available in March and has a 3.1-inch capacitive touch screen, touch-sensitive navigation pad and Google Maps Navigation seen on the Motorola Droid we reviewed last year. It also has a 3.0 megapixel camera and an 8GB microSD pre-installed for media storage.

A possible downside to this new phone is that it ships with an older version of the Android operating system, version 1.6, without the cool new features on version 2.0 and 2.1 seen on the Droid and Nexus One from Google.

Pricing has not yet been released but we will keep you updated.
