For those of you who need more computing power than what is provided by Samsung’s new netbook line, Samsung just announced their new R30 and R80 series laptops. Complete with Intel Core 2 Duo processors and Blu-ray drives, these laptops will range between $600 and $1000.

Earlier today, Fujitsu announced eight new notebooks and tablet PCs at CES, which opened officially this morning. The lineup includes the smallest multi-touch handheld PC to a model featuring a HD 18.4-inch display. Full details of the new lineup after the break, complete with specs.

Portable TVs never had good reception in the past, or decent picture quality, but all that is changing today with the new Vizio Razor LED mobile TVs. The new Razor LED models will come in three sizes, a 7-inch, and a 9- or 10-inch with HDMI input at less than one inch thick.

From Samsung’s press event last night came their new series of LED backlit HDTVs. Complete with 3D support and a beautiful design, this is the largest product lineup Samsung has ever rolled out with screen sizes ranging from 19″ to 65″.

And I mean slightly. The Palm Pre was upgraded to the Palm Pre Plus with double the standard memory, the Palm Pixi now has wifi (hence adding a plus to that as well), and there’s a new app in the webOS App Store that allows you to create a mobile hotspot for other devices.

Earlier this evening, before the epic power failure at the Microsoft pre-show keynote for CES, Motorola unveiled their latest Android handset, the BACKFLIP (or Backflip, as we’ll call it without shouting) with Motoblur. The details with the press release are after the break.

If you’re planning on looking for a new laptop this year, the new Aspire series from Acer might be on your list. The new AS5740 and 7740 series of notebooks have the latest Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors, as well as having discrete ATI graphics, and the its signature “Gemstone Blue” design.

In an effort to connect the internet to you wherever you might be, Sony is introducing the new Dash personal application viewer. The 7-inch color touch screen device is similar to a Chumby, but offers access to over 1,000 free applications. More info after the break.

Not to be outdone by LG launching new TVs and Blu-ray players, Panasonic has unveiled a trifecta of 3D goodness: a professional level 3D camera, a new line of 3D HDTVs, and a 3D compatible Blu-ray player. It’s quite apparent that 3D is to this decade as HDTV was to last.

Sporting a 3.7″ AMOLED touchscreen, the Samsung CL80 is a big step forward for high end consumer cameras. Complete with a 14.2 megapixel sensor, Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, and an incredibly sleek design, Samsung really impressed us when they announced this camera.
