Netgear is setting a new standard at the 2011 CES today with its new industry-first 500Mbps 4-port Powerline networking system. Aimed at the home theater market, the Universal Internet Adapter for Home Theater or XAVB5004, will support full 1080p high-definition and 3D streaming while also connecting to up to four devices at once. Netgear today unveiled its latest high-end router product, the N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router Premium Edition (or WNDR3800, for short), which is the successor to the widely popular WNDR3700 model introduced (and reviewed here) last year. Among the new features are the Clear Channel Selector, which dynamically changes the channel to avoid busy Wi-Fi channels, ReadyShare Remote, which allows you to access data on a USB hard drive while on the go, and ReadyShare Printer, which allows you to turn a USB printer into a networked printer with additional support for all-in-one printers.
