First Look: Panasonic Lumix LX5 Digital Camera

Panasonic today announced the successor to its high-end LX3 digital camera with the Lumix LX5. The new LX5 has a bright F2.0 24mm wide-angle lens, which minimizes image distortion while also offering a 3.8x optical zoom (equivalent to a 90mm lens). The camera has the same great 10.1 megapixel CCD as the LX3, but brings an expanded dynamic range to the table by increasing saturation and sensitivity.

The sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft game will be in stores internationally on July 27th. The sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, comes out 12 years after the original was first on sale and the solo campaign picks up where StarCraft: Brood War took off. A new version of Battle.net will allow for online multiplayer action with new voice communication, cloud file storage, achievements, and statistics features.
